About Me
Hello everyone! My name is Cindy Russell and I live near Paducah, Kentucky. I have two great kids and three cats. I am a bona-fide born, bred, dyed in the wool Texas girl from a little place called Dallas.. I have called Kentucky, a beautiful state and great place to live, my home since 1995 but Texas will always be closest to my heart.
My love of sewing began at the age of five after badgering my mom to make a doll dress pattern for me and I have been sewing ever since. One of my fondest memories is of sitting in a shed at my great-grandmothers home examining feed sack pieces. Four decades later, I still love the patterns and smell of feed sack. I am completely addicted to fabric and proud of it..
I have been digitizing for a little over four years now and just love it. This new venture began as a means to pay my college expenses but soon blossomed into a large commercial business. It is very rewarding to get up each morning and know that I will be creating a wonderfully unique design. I plan to start my "Rosie on The Road" tour in 2010 and would love to meet you if I am in your area or country.
I am very proud of how my Yahoo Group has grown to over 7208 members and we have a new sister group "Rosie Girl's" with a membership of over 3368. I am truly blessed and honored to have so many members and a huge following that includes folks from all over the world.
There are many new sets slated for completion within the next two years which are inspired from 1930's and 1940's era transfers that I have collected over the years. Please be sure and check my site for spur of the moment unplanned super sales, free designs, and lots more designs.
Thanks for stopping by to visit.
