Applique Ornaments Instructions

You will need:

Heavy Duty WSS stabilizer (Solvy)
Thread
Fabric

Depending on the design, some of the fill area will sew first or last.
Sew out according to the color chart included with the designs.
When you reach the applique portion:
Make the first pass. This gives you the outline you will need to place your fabric over.
Lay your fabric down and sew out the next color.
Remove the hoop but DO NOT UNHOOP the design. Gently trim the outside close to the stitching 
but do not go through it.
Replace the hoop being careful not to bump the hoop.
The final stitch in the applique will be the satin stitch.
If the applique is the final stitch step then remove and gently trim close, then rinse gently but not 
completely and pat dry. Use a warm sponge to smooth over the edges.
Lay between two paper towels to completely dry.
When dry place a pillowcase or cotton cloth over the ornaments and gently press.

The ice skates can be sewn out and connected together by hand stitch. Use ribbon to lace them up.
YOu will need to use a hole puncher to remove the fabric in the holes.
