Paper Doll Sewing Instructions
To sew out your dolls, hoop one layer of cutaway stabilizer
and cut a square of
Peltex
interfacing the size of the inner hoop. Adhere with spray adhesive on top of the
cutaway for maximum support. After sewing out your doll cut close to outer stitching..
For the clothing hoop a layer of organza followed by a medium weight tear away. You can attach clothes to the dolls by
attaching small craft Velcro dots.
For appliqué clothes please hoop one layer of
cutaway stabilizer and cut a square of
Peltex
interfacing the size of the inner hoop. Adhere with spray adhesive on top of the
cutaway for maximum support. Next run your outline stitch, the secure
fabric over outline with spray adhesive. Next run your tack down stitch. Next
Remove hoop (DO NOT UNHOOP DESIGN). Trim close to stitching. Replace hoop and
sew the final outline.
