Spring Fling Towel Hanger

Supplies Needed:

1 Sheet Solvy WSS
Thread
Spray Adhesive
White fabric
Ribbon for creating loop at top
Timtex, felt or heavy white fabric
10" strip of fabric
Iron
Pressing Cloth
2 Sheets Fabri-Solvy (available online and in some stores)

To Start:
Cut a piece of 10 square Timtex
Cut a piece of fabric 10x3 inches. Fold in half right sides together. Sew down long side with a 1/4 inch seam. Turn and press.
Turn Timtex over. Center the completed strip and make sure that it is placed horizontally. Hand or machine baste in place with a running stitch down the center. You can remove stitches when finished.

1. Hoop Fabri-Solvy, Fabric, WSS Solvy in that order. (Please do not omit the WSS solvy. It gives the design a crisp look.)
2. Sew out design up to the last two colors.
3. Stop.
4. Remove hoop from machine but DO NOT UNHOOP.
5. Float the Timtex or felt under the bottom affixing with spray adhesive.
(MAKE SURE THE horizontally placed strip that you affixed by hand sewing IS FACE DOWN TO THE BACK. IT SHOULD SHOW WHEN COMPLETED.)
6. Return hoop to machine and continue sewing out the next to the last color.
7. Remove hoop again (DO NOT UNHOOP)
8. Turn Hoop over. Trim only Timtex or felt away close to stitching but not through it. BE SURE NOT TO CUT INTO THE Fabri Solvy.
9. Turn Hoop back over. On top trim WSS and fabric away close to stitching but not through it. BE SURE NOT TO CUT INTO THE Fabri Solvy.
9. Return hoop to machine and finish sewing last color.
10. Remove from hoop and trim design close to final stitch.
11. TO remove the excess Fabri Solvy use a warm water dampened sponge to run around the design.
12. Let finished towel topper dry well if damp.
13. Place between the pressing cloth and gently press.
14. Hand stitch a looped ribbon at the top of the towel topper. This will be your hanger.
15. Remove basting stitches from back of towel hanger.
16. You towel will drape through the horizontal strip on back.

Spring Fling Towel Coaster

Supplies Needed:
1 pieces 9x9 vinyl squares (available online and in some stores)
2 Sheets Fabri-Solvy (available online and in some stores)
1 Sheet Solvy WSS
Thread
Spray Adhesive
White fabric
Timtex, felt or heavy white fabric
Iron
Pressing Cloth

1. Hoop Fabri-Solvy, Fabric, WSS Solvy in that order. (Please do not omit the WSS solvy. It gives the design a crisp look.)
2. Sew out design up to the last two colors.
3. Stop.
4. Remove hoop from machine but DO NOT UNHOOP.
5. Center and place vinyl over design on top affixing with spray adhesive.
6. Float the Timtex or felt under the bottom affixing with spray adhesive.
6. Return hoop to machine and continue sewing out the next to the last color.
7. Remove hoop again (DO NOT UNHOOP)
8. Turn Hoop over. Trim only Timtex or felt away close to stitching but not through it. BE SURE NOT TO CUT INTO THE Fabri Solvy.
9. Turn Hoop back over to top and trim vinyl, WSS and fabric away close to stitching but not through it. BE SURE NOT TO CUT INTO THE Fabri Solvy.
9. Return hoop to machine and finish sewing last color.
10. Remove from hoop and trim design close to final stitch.
11. TO remove the excess Fabri Solvy use a warm water dampened sponge to run around the design.
12. Let finished coaster dry well if damp.
13. Place between the pressing cloth and gently press before use.

1 Sheet Solvy WSS
Thread
Spray Adhesive
White fabric

Magnet and glue

1. Hoop Fabri-Solvy, Fabric, WSS Solvy in that order. (Please do not omit the WSS solvy. It gives the design a crisp look.)
2. Sew out design up to the last two colors.
3. Stop.
4. Remove hoop from machine but DO NOT UNHOOP.
5. Float the Timtex or felt under the bottom affixing with spray adhesive.
6. Return hoop to machine and continue sewing out the next to the last color.
7. Remove hoop again (DO NOT UNHOOP)
8. Turn Hoop over. Trim only Timtex or felt away close to stitching but not through it. BE SURE NOT TO CUT INTO THE Fabri Solvy.

14. Attach a magnet to the back with glue. Allow to dry before use.
