Instructions to Make Creepy Cookie Coasters

Supplies Needed

Vilene Wash A Way Stabilizer or Paper Solvy
Insulbrite or Timtex
Fabric
Thread
Spray Adhesive
Vinyl (optional)

Instructions:

1. Hoop at least three layers of Vilene or 1 layer Paper Solvy and fabric. 
2. Sew out colors.
Stop when you get to the last three colors.
Remove Hoop (DO NOT UNHOOP)
3. Place a square of Insulbrite or Timtex on Table and spray with adhesive.
4. Adhere it to the underneath of the hooped design.
OPTIONAL: IF VINYL TOP IS DESIRED PLEASE PLACE ON TOP OF DESIGN. USE ADHESIVE IN OTHER CORNERS TO HOLD DOWN WHILE SEWING OUT THE LAST THREE COLORS.
5. Replace hoop.
Sew out #1 of the last three colors. This is the outline.
Sew out #2 of the last three colors. This is the tack down.
Stop
Remove Hoop (DO NOT UNHOOP)
6. WITHOUT cutting into Vilene or Paper Solvy trim the top as close as possible to the outline.
7. WITHOUT cutting into Vilene or Paper Solvy trim the bottom as close as possible to the outline.
8. Replace hoop.
Sew out #3 of the last three colors. This is the final satin stitch.
9. Cut away the Vilene or Paper Solvy.
10. Take a warm sponge to dab around satin stitch..
